Runic Travels has partnered with Icelandair to provide all of our airfare to Scandinavia. You can expect courteous service and a relaxing flight to your destination. Our land packages do not include airfare prices because we understand so many of you want to use frequent flyer miles or look for internet sale fares. Iceland Airs baggage policies:
Economy Class: Permitted for each Economy Class passenger:
Transatlantic Flights (US to Iceland and Europe and return)
- two checked bags, not weighing more than 50lbs each, with a total of the 3 dimensions (L+W+H) not exceeding 62in.
Flights within Europe (Europe to Iceland and return)
Economy Class passengers are allowed 44 lbs.
- one carry-on bag, not weighing more than 13lbs, with a total of the 3 Dimensions (L+W+H) not exceeding 45in.
Luggage weighing over the maximum weight of 70lbs (32kg) will not be allowed.
Saga Business Class: Permitted for each Saga Business Class passenger
Transatlantic Flights (US to Iceland and Europe and return)
- two checked bags, not weighing more than 70lbs each, total of the 3 dimensions (L+W+H) not exceeding 62in.
Flights within Europe (Europe to Iceland and return)
- Business Class passengers are entitled to 66lbs.
- two carry-on bags, not weighing more than 20lbs each, total of the 3 dimensions (L+W+H) not exceeding 45in (115cm).
Luggage weighing over the maximum weight of 70lbs (32kg) will not be allowed.
Additional Free Baggage Items
On all International flights the following objects may be taken on board free of charge, as additional cabin baggage:
- 1 coat or wrap
- 1 handbag
- 1 umbrella or cane
- 1 small camera
- 1 pair of binoculars
- reasonable amount of reading material
- baby food for the flight
- baby's carrying basket
