ItineraryDay 1: ÅlesundArrive in Ålesund and spend the afternoon and evening visiting the Medieval Museum, the Fisheries Museums or the Atlantic Sea Park. Another option is to take a walk through the town streets and enjoy the wonderful Art Nouveau buildings. The architects that designed the houses were young Norwegians, influenced by both national romantic ideas and the popular architectural style of the time. Details such as the decorated towers, turrets and imaginative and colorful ornaments combine to create the beautifully detailed buildings that make Ålesund renowned both nationally and internationally. 
Day 2: Ålesund - GeirangerDepart this morning at 9:30am on board the famous Hurtigruten coastal steamer for your cruise through the Geiranger Fjord to the town of Geiranger. The town is among the many pearls of natural beauty in the area. During the cruise witness the beautiful Seven Sisters, Bridal Veil and Suttor waterfalls as well as the snow-covered mountain peaks and lush green vegetation. Upon arrival check into your historic hotel and enjoy the rest of the day. There are several hiking trails in the area or take a tour through the steep, twisting road to Dalsnibba and Ørnesvingen. From the top enjoy fantastic panoramic views of the valley and fjord below. 
Day 3: GeirangerToday is yours to explore the area or simply relax in the beautiful natural surroundings. Located next to your hotel is the newly opened Norwegian Fjord Center. The center features interactive and educational displays detailing the creation of the fjords as well as the culture of the people living there. 
Day 4: Geiranger - Linge - ÅlesundIn the morning say good bye to Geiranger and return to Ålesund via the Eagle Road. From Eidsdal you'll take a ferry to Linge and then continue via local bus to Ålesund for the evening. Spend another night in the beautiful hotel by the harbor and enjoy your last night in Norway.
